Came here by chance on a Sunday. We opted for the carvery and I can say that it was the best we've had for a long time. The portion was perfect(massive) and the quality of the food was fantastic. Staff were nice and friendly and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend this to anyone and I'll be telling my friends to give it a try.

This is the second time I have been here. The first was 11 years ago ,and we weren't disappointed then. This time was even better. Excellent food,excellent atmosphere, excellent staff. I had the Nachos and the lamb shank. Outstanding. The desserts looked delicious too but I was far too full to try one. Definitely will next time. Highly recommend a visit here to each and every one of you.

Great hotel, was surprised at how big it was. We were out at the back area, beautiful modern rooms, with everything you needed. Breakfast was included and was lovely. Thexsraff were all friendly and helpful. The bar was a beautiful old unspoilt area, warm and welcoming with a great range of beers. Access in a car was tight but a decent car park (at a price). Reception very helpful. Room comfortable. Five minute walk to the castle. Food served in the bar.
