To clarify the registration rules to enter premises with COVID.
You will need to scan our in house, Track and Trace QR code prior to entry and provide ID to confirm your name and email phone number.
You will need to provide us with ID before entry to premises to confirm your name etc for the track trace. We just need to see all copies passport, driving licence etc. Each guest will need to provide this.
The NHS COVID 19 app QR code is recommended by the government to download. This will warn you is you have had close contact with any infected person.
Customers should always wear Face Mask when standing.
Staff should always wear Face Masks.

Dining Times at the Inn / Make a Restaurant Reservation
- Sunday to Thursday: Noon until 9.00p.m.
- Friday and Saturday. Noon until 9.30p.m.
Due to the nature of our business, we only reserve 10% of our table stock up to 18.30 hrs, after this time it is all treated as a walk-in service. The web site shows only the booking times left available. All online table bookings are placed in the coach house area. There will most likely be a wait on arrival for your table, this is again due to the busy nature of the Inn. We have noticed that guests are booking multiple bookings and then asking for these to be joined as a group table. We are unable to accommodate these requests as the software allocates the tables automatically into various areas within the room.
We do not allow dogs into any inside areas of the Inn.
We neither book any tables in bars or outside areas.

Email Confirmation: Online reservations will only be valid when you receive a confirmation from firstname.lastname@example.org. Please check your details carefully including the date of arrival, booking times etc. We cannot be held responsible for any errors on the part of the booker.
Please note: A credit or debit card is required in order to reserve a restaurant booking. This is required to confirm a booking, no money will be deducted from your bank account unless the booking is a no show. We reserve the right to charge a no show fee of £10 per person which will be debited from your credit or debit card. (Any cancellations are required to be made 24 hours of the reservation date, with the exception of group bookings Christmas bookings which have separate terms)
All other requests to join the waitlist, which is run after the small number of table bookings have been filled. Must be in person at the Hotel on the day/evening to ensure that we can offer you a table as soon as one becomes available. This system is necessary to ensure fairness to all our patrons but may be subject to change. The traditional restaurant booking system would create a waiting list which would require up to eight weeks’ notice for a table reservation. We hope that you will appreciate the reasons for this rule as outlined above. If you have a confirmed booking with us in a dining area, please ensure you make yourself known to maître D’ on the door of the dining area, otherwise, we cannot guarantee the table for you. We have a policy of releasing the booked tables for resale on non-arrival of booker, after 10 minutes.
Our policy is run on first come first served. Bookings will always be in the coach house, changes may occur at our discretion during busy times.
7.00am – 9.30am, (Sunday 7.30am -10.00am) served in the Coach house and subject to numbers in the front dining area for residents. Walk-In breakfast service in the bar areas is also available for non-residents up until 11.30am.
Peak times tend to be the last 30/45 minutes of service. Please come down early if you need be away early as all our breakfasts are cooked to order and if all our guest come down together there can be a bit of a wait. Sunday morning at 9.00 am is always a peak time to avoid.
Tips are fairly distributed among all the staff.
