There are no lifts in any part of the Black Boy due to the listing of the building as a genuine Inn.
Please note we do not accept dogs in any part of the buildings.
Car parking is allocated on arrival. We keep a small car park next to the Inn (Daily car park charges apply at £5.00 a day) for Blue Badge holders and late arrivals. Early arrivals will be given a Free permit for the castle car park (subject to availability).
A credit/debit card is required to secure a reservation. As a security measure, credit/debit cards are verified on receipt of booking, but no charge is made unless you book pre-pay rate.
For cancellations, 48 hours’ notice prior to arrival must be received and a cancellation reference issued, otherwise, the card used to secure the reservation will be charged with the full amount of the reservation. And the room will be released for sale. Your booking will be cancelled. If booked via Agent ie Booking.com, you need to cancel via Agent, or a card will be charged.

The best time to call us to book a room is between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Group bookings of 5 or more rooms can only be accepted by a Team Manager only, a deposit will also be required.
