Access Statement
At the Black Boy Inn, we believe our guests should be able to make an informed decision as to whether our premises, with its characteristic low ceilings, narrow corridors and exposed beams, meet their particular access needs. We welcome all of our guests without discrimination and strive to make it accessible to all. The inn is situated in the centre of town. Car parking (Daily car park charges apply at £5.00 a day). Tarmacadam and paving is at surface level to the main. Our newer rooms in both Black Jack’s and Ty Dre – Townhouse have ground floor easy access available.
Caernarfon is situated on the main North Wales bus route. The nearest mainline train station is Bangor, 9 miles away. The reception has been modified for wheelchair users. There is no loop system installed. A ground floor toilet suitable for wheelchair access.

There is a step at the front door. The Black Boy Inn is a historic building and thus due to its structural layout is not easily accessible to wheelchairs. It has uneven floors and narrow passages; nothing is of standard width.
No lift facility. Bedrooms situated in the inn are not easily accessible to wheelchairs and are spread over two floor levels with steps.
