    Halloween events in Caernarfon

As the chill creeps back into the air and the nights get darker, there’s no doubt that Halloween is back and North Wales is one of the best places to celebrate it.

There’s plenty to get stuck into for people of all ages over the coming month and especially so near us here at Black Boy Inn bed & breakfast in Caernarfon. Considering how old our building is, we wouldn’t be too surprised if we were haunted ourselves!

With plenty to get excited (and spooked) about for the whole family, here are some of the best Halloween events coming up in the region:

    Twilight Tours – 25/10/2014 – Penrhyn Castle
Just a short distance away from Caernarfon in Bangor, Penrhyn Castle is one of the most sought after place for ghosthunters so it makes a lot of sense for it to be the place for a spooky tour this October. Turn up on the 25th from 6pm for a free night of fun.

    Halloween Art Club – 27/10/2014 – Galeri
Rather than just picking up your Halloween decorations from the local supermarket, how about you and the kids make your way to Galeri in Caernarfon for the fantastic art club? From just £6, make sure you bring a family-friendly edge to your holiday.

    Howling Halloween – 29/10/12014 – Plas Newydd
If you would like to get in the spirit of Halloween but not jump out of your skin at the same time, this light-hearted event is one for you and the kids. The grounds of Plas Newydd will make for a brilliant scare trail on the 29th of October.

Halloween Trains – 29-31/10/2014 – Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways
There aren’t many better ways to spend the spooky season than with a ride aboard one of the region’s most popular attractions: the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways service. The special Ghoulish Train is the perfect place to be if you’re after some frantic fun and a firework or two.

And now for something completely different…
    Midge Ure – 31/10/2014 – Galeri
It might be a bit of an odd booking to have a music legend play on All Hallow’s Eve but might also just be an inspired one too. The musician’s musician comes to Galeri to no doubt play some of his well known tracks, tickets are priced at £16.50.
