CHRISTMAS IN CAERNARFON 2018

Christmas is Coming to the Black Boy Inn!

The magical ancient castle town of Caernarfon comes to life with christmas magic in the winter time of year. If you’re visiting the area or even a local you’ll be wanting to know about all the festive goings on in town in the year 2018.

That’s why we’ve collated a list of all the things there are to do. Of course, you’re welcome to have a cup of tea, or a pint of ale at the black boy inn and warm your bones by the roaring fire.

Santa Train

All aboard the polar express! The Santa Train will be steaming out of Caernarfon station full to the brim with christmas cheer and magic. The train will be rolling out of caernarfon and all the way to the far reaches of Rhyd Ddu and then back again. The train ride allows you to see the beautiful North Wales countryside and have a great christmas outing too.

Tickets are £15 or £20 first class. It’s £3 for children under three years.

Nativity Rocks!

The Fourth and Latest installment of the Nativity Series sees Simon Lipkin take the reigns as Mr Poppy the teacher who’s going to need to take the school to audition for a Christmas rock competition. An alternative take on the standard christmas film that adults and kids can both enjoy. Watch this at Caernarfon fantastic cinema:

Farmers Market

The farmers market over in Menai Bridge is only a short drive and although is on all year round you can expect to see some festive goods this time of year. Why not check it out if you’re in the area and experience local culture.

Santa Fun Run

Clwb Rybi are hosting thej fantastic santa fun run of a distance of 5km for adults and 1km for kids. If adults want to participate it costs £10 for under 16s or kids it’s £5. The magic part of this is the fact htat all those participating inthe fun run need to dress as the man himself – Sion Corn – Santa Claus – Father Christmas! Can you imagine the image of dozens of Santas running as fast as they can across a field. theres also a kids event for the little ones to enjoy.
